Sarbottam Cement Ltd

Sarbottam Cement Ltd. is an integrated cement maker and the flagship business of the Saurabh Group. It was founded in 2010 and began production in February 2014 at its plant in Sunwal, Nawalparasi. The company makes its own clinker from captive limestone mines covering about 20 sq km, and it sells Sarbottam OPC (Grade 43 and 53) and Sarbottam PPC cement. It says it was the first in Nepal to use European Vertical Roller Mill (VRM) grinding technology. Its plant is certified to NS, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. In 2023 it also became the first Nepali company to raise an IPO through the book-building method. It is chaired by Bishnu Prasad Neupane.
