Mid Solu Hydropower Ltd.

Mid Solu Hydropower Ltd. is a Nepali hydropower developer, incorporated in 2017 and converted into a public limited company in 2021. It develops the 9.5 MW Mid Solu Khola Hydropower Project in Solududhkunda Municipality, Solukhumbu District, Koshi Province. The plant has two 4.75 MW Francis turbines. It reuses water released from the Upper Solu Khola project upstream, so it can generate power without building a separate intake. The project has started trial production, and the company is adding clean energy to Nepal’s national grid from its head office in Kathmandu and site office in Salleri.
